CANAL FEST... A TOTAL SUCCESS !!

I am so happy that God has fulfilled my dreams ! Thank you God for such a wonderful 2 days at Canal Fest !


 We just got home from Canal Fest Antique and Flea Market ..we did great and we had so much fun ! I hope all of my new customers will follow me on my blog and email me for all of the latest info on my upcoming shows  and for all the newest  items I am working on ..if you happen to see something on my blog that your interested in..let me know ..via Email (Tracizoo217@gmail.com) or  friend me on FB ( Tracy Williams Szulist) ..or call ..and I can save it for you at the next show! It was so wonderful to meet so many new people ..and I am so glad that you liked my Cottage style decor ! You all completely wiped me out of most of my items ..and I am going to be so busy now til my next show ! But I cant tell you how much I appreciate your business ! So a big Thank You to all my customers at Canal Fest ..and I hope to see you soon ...I will be @ Port of Entry on Aug 28th Sunday on Campbell Blvd and Dodge Rd ..look for me there !!

White Barn Cottage Style Decor

Morning Glories,
Its been a while since I posted last and I apologize to everyone for that .. I had experienced a few trials and health issues one being the loss of my Sheltie girl Molly who gave me 16 yrs of unconditional love , devotion and joy ..and this was a very heartbreaking loss for me and our family she was the love of my life .. I also battled some type of serious lung infection and asthma issues but mostly my RA had taken quite a turn for the worst.. starting in winter of 2010 and lasting til Spring of this year..basically leaving me unable to move ..let alone work on my projects . Thanks to some new RA meds and the warm spring weather I am now doing a little better and Im excited and hoping now to get back into the swing of things. Thanks to all who have prayed for me and continue to pray for my RA related issues !
Updates as of today ...I am excited to announce that I am now an official business! my Business name is "White Barn" Cottage Style Decor ..I chose this name because of my love of White Barns and because many of my Cottage decor/ re-purposed items are distressed and painted white ...and many of the items I sell are the type of thing you may find at your local country Barn Sale. We also have plans to build a small cottage type/ white barn in our backyard where I will be keeping my inventory..and one day hopefully set up a small shop. Ahhh Dreams ...
For now I will be selling my items at local Flea Markets,Craft Fairs,and Festivals..and then hopefully soon setting up an online website to sell some smaller items. I have designed my business card and will be ordering them this week ..and hopefully have them ready for my first show..which will be The "Tonawandas Historical Society" Flea market which is put on during the Canal Fest of the Tonawandas in WNY.. July 23rd&24th 2011 Sat & Sunday . I am so very excited to gather together all I have gotten done last summer and get working on much more for this show !
Also since I posted last ..I have gotten 3/4 of my basement redo done ...I also had a vintage Christmas set up in my basement during this past Christmas season ..that was so much fun ! I also sold my very first birdhouse..and did a re-framing of a drawing for a friend.. I will post pics from the "Vintage Christmas" and the progress of the basement ..etc..
As the warm spring air is approaching and my joints are beginning to move easier ..I will be busy happily working on new projects and searching the local thrift stores yard sales..and curbside freebies for that perfect old unwanted piece that is just waiting for me to give it a new life and a new purpose ! Oh how I passionately love to do this type of work ..and I pray that God will continue to Bless me with His strength ..endurance.. creativity.. and work of my hands ! He has once again carried me through the storms and kept me on His Rock and I praise Him for the good and the difficult in my life because He never leaves me alone !!
